Rosewater is essential to water that is produced as a by-product when distilling Rose oil from rose petals. It is also called ‘rose hydrate’. Pure rose water should not be confused with (macerated) rose petal extract. Rosewater is compared with standard floral water 40 times more distilled, which is the reason for its intensity. The organic Persian roses are grown on a high desert plateau in the north of Persia. The flowers are not stressed by pests and insects due to the desert climate. Our Floral Water comes from a Persian organic cooperative.
