Jojoba is not an oil, but a wax. By its composition, it never becomes rancid and keeps almost indefinitely. Its fatty acids make jojoba an excellent wax that protects the skin and makes it smooth and supple. As it is similar to the skin’s sebum, the skin’s capacity to store moisture is enhanced. It has a high content of tocopherols and mineral nutrients. Jojoba has a natural sun protection factor of 3 to 4. It revitalizes and regenerates highly stressed skin in a logical, beneficial manner. It gives the skin more moisture and a pleasant velvety feel. It firms up the skin and counteracts fine wrinkles. We use only 100% pure virgin jojoba from the first cold press. The nuts come from an organic plantation in North America. We have consciously decided against the picking operations in the wild, as they cause a lot of destruction and do not conform to our concept of sustainability.
